Nepali film industry loses one of its finest gem

Nepali film actor SriKrishna Shrestha

SriKrishna Shrestha, 47 year old actor of Nepali Cinemas died yesterday in Apolo Hospital of New Delhi. He was in the hospital for past four weeks because of pneumonia. However, the reason of death is believed to be bone cancer which was detected few days back. But the reason of death was modified to be pneumonia to prevent his 86 year old mother from shock.

He had recently married actor Sweta Khadka one month back and the film acted by the couple ‘Kohinoor’ was released on Friday. He was one of the best gem of Nepali film industry for past two decades. He started his acting career from film ‘Bhumari’ on 2047 B.S.  He has acted in more than 100 Nepali films.
