ICC World Cricket League Division-2 2015: Namibia. How to watch matches live?

Well, if you are a Nepali Cricket fan and you want to see your team performing live in Namibia in ICC World Cricket League Division-2 2015. To your dismay, there is no way you could watch these matches online. The only thing you can do is watch the scorecard and live commentary in espncricinfo.com
The tournament is a qualification pathway for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. It is going to be held in Namibia from 17-24 January.

This is the 14 member squad of Nepali Cricket team for this tournament.

Nepal defeated Bahrain by huge margin of 186 runs.

Nepal defeated Bahrain by 186 runs in ACC Premier League to register their fourth win in equal number of games. Nepali U-16 side defeated Bahrain U-16 side in all three aspects of the game either that be batting, bowling or fielding played today in Selangor Turf Club.

Nepal won the toss and elected to bat first. Nepal scored some 233 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allocated 40 overs. Pranit Thapa top scored with 70 runs and remained not out by the end of innings. Rabi Chand scored 33 and Sushant Thapa scored 29 to contribute to the massive total of the team.
            Chasing a huge target, Bahrain could not score more than a mere score of 47 runs before getting all out in the 25th over. 13 year old Anil Kharel who displayed wonderful bowling in the previous game picked up 3 wickets in this game as well.


Nepal will be playing against Malaysia on Wednesday in their final game of the league. Malaysia is currently second in the points table and the winner of the game will decide the title winner.

Nepali U-16 team defeats Thailand by 10 wickets

Nepali U-16 side got an easy win against its opponent in the opening game of ACC U-16 Premier League. Nepal defeated Thailand by 10 wickets in the game played in Selangor Turf Club on Thursday morning.
Nepal won the toss and invited Thailand to bat first. Batting first, whole Thailand team was bundled to a score of 48 runs in 32.4 overs thanks to Jitendra Singh Thakuri’s 5 wicket haul. Off spinner Jitendra gave away only 3 runs in his 6 over spell and picked 5 wickets to get ‘Man of the match’. Anil Kharel picked up two wickets for Nepal. Ashish Pokharel, Bijay Chaudhary and Pawan Sheraff got one wicket each.
In reply to a low target, Nepali openers batted brilliantly to chase the target in 6.1 overs. Sushant Singh scored 20 runs with the help of 2 fours and two sixes and his partner Ravi Shah scored 16 runs with the help of 3 fours.

Nepal will be playing against Singapore on Friday in Kinara Oval.

CAN announces Men's and Women's Squad for 17th Asian Games

Cricket Association of Nepal has announced a 14- member squad of both men and women team for 17th Asian Games going to be held in South Korea from September 19.

CAN announces 14 member squad for ACC U-16 Premier League

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced 14 member squad for upcoming ACC U-16 Premier League. The 14-member squad looks like this:
Sumit Maharjan(Captain), Aarif Seikh (Vice Captain) , Pranit Thapa, Sushant Singh Thapa, Pawan Sharaf, Jitendra Singh Thakuri, Rabi Kumar Shah, Rabindra Jung Shahi, Rabi Chand, Aashish Pokharel, Bijay Chaudari, Anil Kharel, Rijan Dhakal and Roshan Adhikari 
As per press release by CAN today, Basanta Shahi will coach the side. He will be assisted by Raju Basnet as his assistant coach. Ranjit Tamang is appointed as the team manager for the tournament.
The tournament will be hosted by Malaysia from August 14-20. It is a 40-over tournament.
